Rules & Regulations

General Conduct1. Respect each other and their wishes to remain silent on anything.
- Do not ask personal questions.
- Do not share personal information of others without their consent.
- Respect everyone’s privacy.Language and Communication2. The Server does NOT tolerate the use of swear words, brain rot or abusive Language.
- Anyone who is found doing so will face consequences — this may be a ban if the Council so wills.3. Harassment, manipulation, or boundary-pushing in DMs — even if not seen publicly — will be treated as a violation of server rules if it stems from interactions that began here.4. Converse only in English or Arabic where appropriate.5. Do not spam the chats:
- Avoid repeated messages
- Excessive emojis
- Mass pings
- Off-topic content6. Do not answer Religious Questions without evidence.
- Your answers to these questions should only be links to Fatawi, Non-ambiguous clips, or book scans of the well-known and respected Scholars.
- Avoid conversations related to complex religious topics like Fiqh, Shariah, and Aqidah.
- Avoid topics where there is ikhtilaf (difference in opinion).
- Do NOT engage in debates on ANY Islamic topic.Content Rules7. Do not share any Haram content such as:
- Content with music
- Men or women showing their awrah
- Vulgarity or double meaning
- Graphic violence or results of violence8. Rule number 7 also applies to your name, username and profile picture. Your profile should also not contain content like:
- Armed men
- Personalities/Flags/Logos affiliated with Unislamic (Terrorist, Extremist, Anti-Islamic etc.) Organizations
- Anything associated with Kufr (Disbelief)
(This is not an exhaustive list. It should be appropriate.)
- Males CANNOT have females in their profile pictures and the opposite applies as well.
- Your profile should not be Lewd or Suggestive in any way.
Practice modesty and stay within Islamic boundaries.
- Your name should not be blank, i.e. have only punctuation marks and/or symbols.Name-Calling and Labelling9. The Server has zero tolerance towards Name-calling/Labelling.
- Do not call eachother Offensive Nicknames or Names that the person being called does not like.
- Anyone found calling each other names due to their Islamic opinions, Beliefs, or Methodology will be Punished. This includes names such as: Wahhabi, Madkhali, Jami’I, Ikhawni, Murj’I, Mubtadi’i and the likes.
- Anyone who makes Takfir (Making someone a Kafir) or Tabd’I (Making someone a Mubtadi’i) upon a fellow server member, a religious figure, a Muslim Ruler or any Muslim in general will face instant punishment.Respect for Imams and Leaders10. Do not criticize the Imams.
- This includes the Imams and Muadhins in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi. You may point out their Mistakes in a respectable manner, with proper etiquette, only when it’s necessary and would have benefit.
- This includes the Righteous Scholars of Ahl as-Sunnah wal Jama'ah do not point out their "Mistakes", Tabdee' or disrespect them in any way.
- This also includes the Muslim Rulers.11. Using abbreviations of any sort for the Imams, muadhins, or scholars will not be tolerated.
Example:
Using "YRD" instead of Sheikh Yasser, Sh Yasser, Sheikh Yasser al-Dosari, Sh Yasser al-Dosari, Sheikh Yasser bin Rashid al-Dosari, etc.Other Important Rules12. Do not talk about trivial, political or sensitive matters that may cause unrest in the server.13. Talk about relevant topics in the respective rooms.14. Advertisements of any sorts or forms are not allowed, unless permission is granted by the Senior Members of the Council.Consequences
Anyone who breaks the rules will be punished, the severity of the punishment depending upon the severity of the rule broken.

The Council

The Council is structured in two tiers: the Inner Council and the Auxiliary Council, each with distinct responsibilities.Inner Council (Core Leadership)
The Inner Council, generally referred to simply as the Council, is responsible for day-to-day moderation, law and order, and technical and strategic decisions within the server.Its members are:
